All in all, many of us just have different tastes when it comes to GR. They also had a really good selection of soldiers too. Some areas you can attack at different positions. Various assets to use, from teammates to drones to heavy allied vehicles. You still had to be careful, get too close to an enemy and bye-bye. I usually play on consoles, and personally GRAW 2 played real nice. Maybe a little, probably weapons details (sounds and whatnot), but as for something like 1-2 shot deaths, that's either something for multiplayer or harder game modes. However, I played those several years ago, and right now, I don't think GR needs to take a whole lot, or everything, from Flashpoint/ARMA. This was more of an ARMA experience on PS3, and Red River was a bit better. I have played Dragon Rising and Red River on PS3. Maybe it's from how I played it or it just felt weird when I was playing them (may have been a little choppy), but I didn't finish them.

Now, I've only played a little of Op Flashpoint and ARMA on PC, haven't finished them.
